On the Development of Land Rover Tata Motors Will Spend 2.5 Billion Dollars

Group management of Tata Motors intends to double the investment in the development of brand Land Rover, which is owned by the Indian concern. If the decision is finally made, the size of investment could reach two and a half billion dollars a year. The last few years Tata Motors spent on the development of British brands from 700 to 800 million pounds (1.1 to 1.25 billion dollars). These amounts are invested, in the development of new products.

However, despite the vague prospects for maintaining profitability, Indian businessmen are going to double the investment. Thus, the concern Tata Motors may in the next fiscal year spend on the British brand Lanr Rover two and a half billion dollars. Land Rover ensured India’s concern to give 95% profit in December last year, which is three times greater than their own achievements at Tata Motors in the domestic market of India. Therefore, the current owners of UK companies are going to make every effort to maintain the level of profitability, despite the fact that the market as a whole shows a rather moderate growth.
