Land Rover is testing competitor of BMW X6

British car brand Land Rover is actively testing its new crossover. Model was spotted during tests on European roads; this information was announced by foreign automotive publications. The new car will please customers with updated chassis, modern engines and multimedia capabilities.

The car appeared in front of photo spies in protective camouflage, but it is still possible to see some aspects of the design of the car. It should also be noted that the body of the car has coupe shape, which means that the model will compete under the name Range Rover with such cars as Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X6.

British engineers are developing new crossover on the base of the new IQ chassis, which is also the base of the model Jaguar F-Pace presented earlier. This approach will allow designers to shorten the process of developing of new crossover and will allow unifying many details. Technical characteristics of the crossover are not disclosed, but it is possible to tell with confidence that many power units from crossover Jaguar F-Pace will also be available on Range Rover Sport Coupe.
