The second generation Range Rover Evoque came to the test in its own body for the first time. Earlier we saw only mule with a new chassis, but covered with a modified shell from the previous Evoque. So, we can fully appreciate the direction of evolution of the younger from Range Rover models. The model can boast of all-LED headlights and advanced driver assists, including some individual autopilot elements.

The Evoque’s core is based on the JLR D8 platform, the same in Discovery Sports and Jaguar E-Pace models. The rear McPherson struts are in the past, they are changed by multi Integral Link ones. The front and rear body design reminds the Velar’s, may be the grille and optics will look similar. The roof is still perceptibly coming down to the stern. The car makers say that the space in the saloon would become larger, even above the heads of the second-row passengers.

As for the power equipment, the motor range will be presented by petrol and diesel turbo 2.0 Ingenium, hybrid system based on a three-cylinder diesel or 1.5 gasoline engine, and rechargeable hybrid on the basis of the V4. Maybe Evoque SVR hot-version will also appear according to rumors.
